Duties of a MIG Welder:-

• MIG welders must be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other technical drawings in order to understand the specifications of the welds they are required to make.
• MIG welders must prepare the welding area and materials by cleaning the surfaces to be welded, positioning the materials correctly, and selecting the appropriate welding rods or wire.
• MIG welders must be able to operate the MIG welding machine safely and effectively. This includes setting the machine’s controls, feeding the welding wire, and striking an arc.
• MIG welders must make welds that meet the required specifications. This includes ensuring that the welds are strong, uniform, and free of defects.
• MIG welders must inspect welds to ensure that they meet the required specifications. This includes using visual inspection methods, such as dye penetrant testing and ultrasonic testing.
• MIG welders must maintain welding equipment in good working order. This includes cleaning and inspecting the equipment, and replacing worn or damaged parts.

Requirements:-

• Experience in manufacturing.
• Welding experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Able to pass a Welding Test.
• Candidates must be willing to finish National Police Checking and pre-employment medical including Drug and alcohol test.
