Responsibilities & Benefits:
- Supervise the real-time operation of the Network to ensure the safety of our staff and the public and to achieve an optimal quality of supply for all consumers
- Manage Network power flow and consumer demand and generation to optimise the life of Network assets and reduce requirements for overbuild investment
- Management and support of the Control Centre Team Leader and Network Controllers with switching and shutdown applications and operations with due consideration to business and social activities
- Ensure the accuracy and relevance of all operational digital and manual records and the creation and distribution of reports as requested, including timely, accurate and relevant reporting is provided for all stakeholders, including the Board, the Executive, Management, and industry regulators
- Develop Network operational strategy, policy, and standards to ensure network quality of supply is continuously improved as distributed energy resources become more prolific
- Be proactive in the ongoing development of quality assurance systems and procedures.
- Maintain the operational relationship with Retailers and External key customers
