Position:
- Welder
Requirement & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous welding experience and/or welding training preferred.
- Be a good team player and able to work under pressure.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Responsibilities & Benefits:
- Perform service and maintenance of Oiltools product portfolio according to maintenance manuals and procedures.
- Welding and brazing of equipment, redress, rebuild, and new build.
- Inspection of equipment returning from the field and evaluation status and follow-up required.
- Ensure stock is updated with correct redress equipment such as carbides, inserts rods, etc.
- Ensure the gas system is operational and the supply requirement of gas is communicated.
- Ensure all machinery within the area of function is maintained and operational.
- Preparation of tools for shipment offshore according to work orders and procedures.
- Preparation of offshore checklists for tools.
- Participate in maintenance and housekeeping of the Workshop area.
- Prepare necessary job reports and documentation for all tool installation and offshore activities.
- Selects equipment and plans layout, assembly, and welding. Lays out, positions aligns, and fits components together.
- Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding. Sets up equipment and welds parts, using gas-shielded arc, or gas welding equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Responsible for following the quality systems procedures.
