Duties Of a Welding and NDT Inspector.

• Organize and set up welding materials and workpieces.
• Join metal parts together using MIG welding techniques.
• Inspect and test welds for quality and accuracy.
• Operate MIG welding equipment and tools.
• Read and interpret welding blueprints or specifications.
• Maintained and cleaned welding supplies and work area.
• Confirm proper safety procedures are followed during welding.
• Understanding the relevant legislation and procedures to ensure that our tanks are welded to the standard required
• The role includes welding in both Mild and Stainless Steel at a variety of thicknesses
• Work on standard operating procedures and engineering data sheets to complete the welding process.

Criteria and Qualification For Welding and NDT Inspector UK.

• Advanced knowledge of modern welding procedures and excellent communication skills with a good eye for detail is essential.
• Desirable – PCN Level 2 MPI, PCN Level 2 Radiographic Interpretation.
• Aluminium MIG welding experience.
• Capable of welding 1G and 2F positions.
• Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings and interpret work instructions.
